About the Event

It is a tale of love, violence, faith, patriotism and identity. Charting wars that were fought and won or lost according to the bonds that tied the army of lovers together.

A fabulous cast of singers will be led by the counter-tenor Derek Lee Ragin who was the voice of Farinelli in the eponymous film. Music composed by Mark Springer (founder member of Rip Rig + Panic with Neneh Cherry); Libretto by David Flusfeder (award-winning author of John the Pupil and The Gift); Movement by legendary ballerina and choreograper Lynn Seymour.

In the first half there will be a performance of Mark Springer’s new music for piano - four hands, two pianists, one piano. Performed on a full size Fazioli concert grand.
